Production Director, BUCK Games
Biography
Marla Anyomi is Production Director and co-lead of BUCK Games where she is building a studio that generates inventive original and IP-based projects. She brings 25 years of industry experience to producing and shipping video games and is a key player in the BUCK Games studio strategy and direction. Under her co-leadership, the studio has produced critically well-received titles such as Let’s! Revolution! and The Electric State: Kid Cosmo, a trans-media collaboration with Netflix and AGBO.
Prior to BUCK, she worked at various development studios and publishers, including THQ, JAMDAT/EA Mobile, Playtika, and Konami. Marla was at the forefront of the mobile industry through THQ Wireless and at JAMDAT Mobile, she led the Distribution team for North America for several years. Notable titles she’s helped ship include Bingo Blitz, Metal Gear Online 3, and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. She also helped produce games and or content for renowned IPs such as Elvis and Tomb Raider (for mobile).
Marla has a BS in Computer Science from Clemson University. In her free time, she enjoys video games (especially walking simulators!), the Olympics, Award ceremonies and their production, especially the Oscars, and hanging out with her cat.
